Pedal the Cause is a St. Louis-based non-profit with a mission to provide critical funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital through an annual cycling challenge.
The organization is based on a 'peer-to-peer' fundraising model and has successfully raised almost $40 million dollars since inception in 2009. In 2021, "A World Without Cancer Day" was established as a one-day event to help fun the organization's administrative costs thus ensuring that the 'peer-to-peer' model could continue. In 2022, Arcturis was engaged to create a brand for the event. Using Pedal the Cause's brand colors, a new identity was developed to better communicate the one day event's energy and purpose. The logo mark was kept simple so that corresponding messaging would stand out. The new identity will be used on coasters, posters, table tents, and on the Pedal the Cause website to promote the event.
