KINGSIDE DINER

As part of it’s expansion plans, the Saint Louis Chess Club approached Arcturis to renovate and convert an existing next-door restaurant space into a multi-purpose room and cafe known as the Kingside Diner. During non-restaurant hours, the Chess Club uses the space as classroom, chess tournament and event space. Arcturis created the Kingside Diner logo with the concept of a sportsbar and diner celebrating the game of chess. Environmental graphics enhance the space and tell the “Chess Story” through art, signage and photography. The diner continues the Chess Club’s efforts to create a Chess Campus in St. Louis alongside the World Chess Hall of Fame across the street.
