KINGSIDE DINER

The Saint Louis Chess Club approached Arcturis to renovate its new Kingside Diner location when an opportunity arose to relocate across the street and further expand the Chess Club Campus. A former dark moody steak house was transformed into a fresh bright trendy breakfast/lunch diner, with an aesthetic that easily converted to a fun “after dark” bar and eating establishment. Black and white finishes celebrate the game of chess, while copper accents and lots of greenery give a fresh twist to traditional materials. Environmental graphics enhance the space and tell the “Chess Story” through art, signage and photography. The diner rounds out the St Louis Chess Campus alongside the Chess Club and the World Chess Hall of Fame.
