INTERIOR DESIGN
Alexis has recently joined the Arcturis team after graduating as an Interior Designer at Missouri State University with an emphasis in Construction Management. While in school, she gained experience with programming, furniture selection, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and space planning; which became her favorite part of the design process. She believes that space planning is like a puzzle: How will all of these pieces fit to create an overall appealing picture? Alexis also finds the idea of playing functionality and psychology will always compliment the aesthetics of a space.

Favorite designer?
Karin Bohn at House of Bohn – She was the first designer I followed online who made me feel confident in becoming an interior designer. Her fearlessness to mix materials and to play with contrast has inspired me for years.  

On a stressful Tuesday morning, with the weekend far off, what other job do you dream about?

What is your favorite color, shape, or texture?  
Emerald green has and always will have a piece of my heart, but I have recently been obsessed with sage green.

Where do you find your best ideas?
Architecture and interiors in other countries. It reminds me of how big our world is, and how much we can learn from other cultures and countries.
