Wayfinding is the art of navigating visitors in and around a specific place to enhance their experience. Beginning with research and discovery, we develop a strategic plan to create a comprehensive, consistent, and clear visual communication system.
We work collaboratively, partnering with all stakeholder groups from the beginning, this assures the most complete plan possible. We research and examine everything holistically within the environment then view each space from the first-time visitor’s perspective. Once we develop a plan, we draw and refine, then implement a comprehensive strategy through a series of sign types and layered message systems. We develop projects from initial sketches all the way through to construction administration.
As graphic designers working within an architectural firm, we appreciate the effectiveness of good design and the importance of maintaining design integrity. Our advantage is that we work within the built environment everyday with an expert team of resources - architects, interior designers, and planners. We look at color, typography, shape, form, and materials. We ask a lot of questions, are good listeners and are a mission-driven team. Our most successful relationships come from teammates and stakeholders who share this philosophy and believe in collaborative partnerships.
