When St. Louis-based Entertainment Cruise Productions (ECP) announced they were launching the inaugural Star Trek: The Cruise™ (the first such trip authorized by CBS Consumer Products™), Arcturis saw an opportunity to marry their fandom as Trekkies and their design skills. Arcturis worked with ECP to develop an identity targeted at franchise fans to engage on a cruise experience like no other. The look was carried out in an exhibit booth, advertisements, print pieces, and a custom designed, fully responsive, content managed website. CBS™ allowed the team access to a treasure trove of a half century of brand assets from the Star Trek universe to help create the look. The team designed the website as a semi-animated experience, taking visitors from outer space to the sea.
